✏️ Writing Newsletters

RSVP block

Let families respond to events directly from your newsletter.

The RSVP block adds an event attendance question to your newsletter. Each recipient gets a personal RSVP link. Clicking it records their response without them needing to log in.

Adding an RSVP block

  1. Click RSVP in the left sidebar.
  2. An RSVP card appears in the editor.
  3. Enter the event name and an optional short description.

How recipients respond

When a recipient opens the email, they see three options: Yes, No, and Maybe. Clicking any option records their response. They can also respond through the public web version of the newsletter.

Viewing responses

  1. In the dashboard, click Full stats on the newsletter.
  2. Switch to the RSVP tab.
  3. You see a bar chart showing Yes / No / Maybe counts and the total number of responses.
Note: RSVP responses are per-send. If you duplicate a newsletter, the RSVP block resets to zero responses.

RSVP vs. Poll

RSVP is specifically for event attendance (Yes / No / Maybe). The Poll block is for custom multiple-choice questions.
