Common questions

What counts as a "newsletter" on the free plan?

A newsletter is one piece of content you create in Daystage. You get 3 newsletters free. Most teachers know within the first 2 or 3 whether it fits their workflow. If you like it, upgrade to Starter for $79 per year and you're done.

Does the free plan lock my newsletters after 30 days?

No. Your newsletters stay fully editable on every plan, including free. You can always duplicate last week's issue and update it.

What is the difference between Starter and Pro?

Starter is for solo use (up to 3 users) with 10,000 monthly email sends. Pro adds up to 10 user accounts, 20,000 monthly sends, shared templates, and shared subscriber lists so a larger team can collaborate.

What does the Team plan include?

Team is for anyone coordinating newsletters across a larger group: a school staff, a department, a district office. It includes unlimited user accounts and 50,000 monthly email sends.

What is the District plan?

District is for district offices managing newsletters across multiple schools. It includes 100,000 monthly email sends, multi-school management, district admin controls, and PO/invoice billing. Contact us to get a custom quote.

What is a custom sender domain?

With a custom sender domain, your newsletters arrive from an address like newsletter@yourschool.edu instead of @daystage.com. This improves deliverability and keeps your school's brand in the inbox. Available on Pro, Team, and District plans.

Can I switch plans at any time?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime. When you downgrade, you keep your current plan until the end of the billing period.

Do you support purchase orders?

Yes. Districts that cannot pay by credit card can request a formal quote and pay by invoice or PO. Contact us to get started.

What happens to my subscriber list if I cancel?

Your data is yours. You can export your subscriber list at any time before canceling. We do not delete it immediately.

Do you offer a discount for Title I schools?

Yes. Contact us at team@daystage.com and we will work something out.

Is Daystage FERPA compliant?

Daystage stores contact emails provided by educators for the purpose of sending newsletters. Email addresses are not shared with third parties or used for advertising. For district-level FERPA review or a data processing agreement, contact team@daystage.com.
