📋 Mailing Lists

Use multiple mailing lists

Organizing your subscribers by class, grade, or audience type.

Most educators find that separate lists for different audiences makes newsletters more relevant and reduces unsubscribes.

Common list structures

Classroom teacher:

  • "Period 1 families"
  • "Period 2 families"
  • Or one combined "Homeroom families" list if you teach one class

School administrator:

  • "All families"
  • "All staff"
  • "PTA members"

District communications office:

  • One list per school
  • One list for district staff
  • One list for community partners

Sending to multiple lists at once

In the send panel, you can select more than one list. Daystage deduplicates across lists automatically, so a parent on both "3rd Grade" and "PTA members" only receives one copy.

Limits

All plans allow unlimited mailing lists. The only limit is the number of emails you can send per month, which depends on your plan. See Free plan limits for details.
