Water evaporates from lakes and rivers, forms clouds, and falls back down as rain, a cycle we traced together on the classroom whiteboard this week.

Field trip update
We're wrapping up our unit on the solar system with a hands-on trip to the City Science Museum, including the new planetarium show and the hands-on physics exhibit.
Students will explore the planetarium dome, walk through a scale model of the solar system, and try out three hands-on physics stations with museum educators.

We celebrated the 100th day of school with a full day of 100-themed activities, and we've been deep into our nonfiction reading unit ever since.

We kicked off our plant life cycle unit this month, and we're using Earth Day as a chance to talk about recycling and taking care of our planet.
