End-of-Year Communication Calendar for School Leaders

March through June is when school communication tends to either pull families across the finish line or fall apart entirely. There are graduation timelines, transitions, surveys to send, summer information to prepare, and somewhere in the middle of all of it, a report card cycle and state testing. Most of this is predictable. The calendar exists. What usually doesn't exist is a clear plan for who sends what, and when.

This template gives you a month-by-month communication plan from March through June. For each week, it specifies what needs to go out, who sends it (principal, classroom teacher, or front office), and includes pre-written subject lines you can use directly or adapt.
