Learning Today
Today our Morning Launch and Morning Game were all about The Power of Yet and the ability to grow our brains (and our abilities) using courage, curiosity, and effort. Here is a link to a video we watched:
Rafi reading a book to Lollia. This was a sweet connection they thought up all on their own during free time.
Amos, Rivers, Raine, and Waverly all checking out the books together. This was during free time. We didn't even have a DEAR time today because the other things we did took up more time than usual.
Today games took up a lot of our time and helped us know how to work well with each other. We played "Mother May I?", "Apple, Orange, Mango Mania", and outside they played a game that they made up yesterday called the Piggy game that is quite elaborate with a two balls (one squishy ball for freezing another player and one small ball for hiding).
