Spring Is Sprung!

Ms. Ackerman

Dear Families,

Spring is sprung, and we've taken our science lessons outside to make the most of it. Here's what our class has been discovering.

Taking science outside

There's nothing like real, hands-on observation, so we've moved several of our science lessons outdoors this month to study the plants and insects waking up around us.

Magnifying glasses in hand, students have been cataloging everything from ladybugs to dandelions in our nature journals.
  1. Studying the plant life cycle in our garden bed
  2. A backyard bug scavenger hunt
  3. Weather journaling and cloud watching
