Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month runs from September 15 to October 15, and our class is spending it learning about the history, countries, and cultures represented in our own school community.
Celebrating our school's Hispanic and Latinx heritage
Several students in our class have family roots across Latin America and Spain, and we're using this month to learn about each country's history, food, and traditions together.
Our classroom is decorated with papel picado the students made themselves, along with flags representing every country in our class.
