Reading update
We're deep into our chapter book unit and reading stamina is really growing! Most students are now reading for a full 20 minutes without a break.
Our reading corner has become the most popular spot in the room, students trade recommendations and read together most afternoons.
- Whole class: our chapter book read-aloud
- Book clubs: student-chosen small group books
- Independent reading: 20 minutes nightly, logged
